I am addicted to...

crafting. And I can't help it.

I made these for my nephews for Valentines Day. Cute and easy to carry in your purse.

Our grandparents got these for Valentines Day. Magnets of the girls little faces.
I also am addicted to making cards right now. Anyone want to be in a card club exchange with me??

It has recently been brought to my attention that I am an overachiever. (Thanks Tanya, now I feel bad ;))
I, on the other hand disagree. If you came over to my house right now you would see children running amuk, laundry in need of folding, a house in dire need of a good cleaning, and a craft room in total disarray. And yesterday my baby big girl wore her pj's all day long!!!
If only I didn't need to sleep or if there were 30 hours in a day.
Now a little explanation. I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. I haven't blogged about it because I have been hoping and wishing that I would be pregnant. I have joked about it and I have cried about it. Neither which seems to be helping. SO...I think that my need to craft is my way of making cute things, since there is no baby. And to make me feel better... knowing that if I had a baby, I wouldn't have the time to craft. So crafting is my therapy!

But I am afraid that my crafting days are coming to an end. We are ready to get back to remodeling. I promised my hubby that I would finish painting all the trim upstairs if he would build the girls closet and then I could start my painting project in their room. YEAH! He agreed to the pink stripes on the wall. I am giddy with excitement!

Now I just need to find material to coordinate with the paint for their bedspreads...

Those things are way cute! We'll have to them for craft night or something. I guess I better learn how to sew.

Oh good luck with it all-- Been there it's so rough.

I for one am VERY jealous of your crafty talent. I wish I had what it takes to do it...but it wasn't a talent I was blessed with. And I am learning to be ok with it. I make a mean chocolate chip cookie ;) We all need something that makes us happy and feel special when we are struggling and I am happy you have found that in your crafts.

Hey Sorry if I offended you, I am truly just jealous that I am not that crafty!! You are someone that I admire and look up to. Your girls are always adorable and so are you. I think you are a wonderful person and I only hope the best for you! I want to learn how to make aprons and the crayon holders!!

I'm Sorry that your struggling. Of all the things to struggle with I think that this one messes with your head the most. For some reason as women that's how we measure our success. I've been there and it's so hard...you have to throw your self into something. And I too am jealous of your talent! When you told me that you just made up a skirt pattern i wanted to throw something! I have no sewing talent what so ever! I think that maybe we should have a sewing night for craft club! You can teach us all you know!

I am going to jump on the magnet bandwagon. I would love to know how to do them to. Not that I would ever get to it. lol It's not that I don't love to craft becasue I do....I am just not very good at making the time to do it! Sorry about the struggle. I can imagine how frustrating that would be. Hang in there though! You are an amazing mom, and you deserve good things!
