Motorcycle Cuties

On Saturday the weather for the 1st half of the day was okay. Ryan wanted to clean up the backyard, so the girls got to play outside. We have bikes, swings, a sandbox, a trampoline, a slide, and power wheels. So many things to play with and so little time to play. Aniston drove around the front on her motorcycle to pick up Emerson. They hopped on and I got to snap a few pictures. Emerson doesn't like be the passenger. She wants to be in charge. When the weather started getting cold we went inside to build the shelves for the pantry. Aniston wants to be so helpful and sometimes it turns out to be Too helpful. Ryan was caulking the shelves and I turned around to catch Aniston sticking her fingers in the while caulk. I, (in a disgusted voice) asked her why she had to touch everything. She replied back with such a matter of fact statement as "My fingers can't help it, they just wanted to". How can you be mad after you here something like that. I just laughed out loud. Little things like that remind me why I love being a mother. Such innocence is beautiful!

More Easter

It is amazing how fast your babies grow up. It seems like we were just celebrating Aniston's 1st easter. She was so excited for the easter bunny to come. She told me Saturday night that we all had to go to be early so that the Easter bunny would come. She said that she had "butterflies tickling her belly". She woke up and ran down the stairs without us. I stopped her of course, because I had to get my cameras ready. She hates having a mother obsessed with photography. When we went outside to find egss, she raced around franticlly, forgetting about little Emerson. But Emerson didn't care because she found the candy.
Aniston and her dad ran out in the field by grandmas house to fly her barbie kite that she got for easter. They were so funny together. She got the hang of it in no time.

This is how the easter festivities started. After getting the eggs boiled and cooled, we started. Aniston couldn't wait. Emerson wasn't quite sure about the whole thing.

Silly Bunny hid our eggs in the fishes mouth. The girls thought that was so funny!

We went to Fayette, to Grandma Tracy's and Grandpa Chads for Easter. They had a easter egg hunt for the grandkids. My sister and her kids were there. It was so much fun to have them all together. We flew kites, played in the dirt, rolled our eggs at the springs, and then had lunch together. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful.

And finally rolling our eggs. Emerson just sort of threw them down the hill. Grandma Tracy and Aniston went to the bottom to collect them all so that we could do it again. It was turned out to be the perfect easter.

Just do it!

I am a wanna be runner. I am almost 30 and I want to get in shape. I have never been a runner, but I want to be one so bad. I bought me some running shoes this last weekend and as soon as this stupid sinus infection clears up I am going to start. Even if it is only running for 5 minutes. I am going to do it!!

I am feeling a little stir crazy today. Do you ever have days when there are too many things to do and you just want to do NOTHING? Today is one of those days. I am hoping that I start feeling better and can start to muddle through all the things that need to be done. I need something inspiring. I found this quote to help me remeber that LIFE GOES ON!
