Has it really been one week since I posted?

What have I been doing? I really can't tell you. I didn't have my internet all last weekend or the 1st part of the week due to TV issues. And I tell you what...no internet is like not having water. I felt a little lost without it. (that sort of sounds pathetic, oh well, it is true)
Well a lot has gone on. My husband is having some stress. He is on a mission to save the fish at Fishlake. This last weekend there was a spearfishing tournament at Fishlake and the people involved killed a lot of big fish. Which Ryan states was illegal, because of the rules about taking more than one fish per person over 20 inches long. He has been so upset that they are allowing these people to do this. He has the whole town of fishermen all worked up. (this is him fishing in November at Fishlake. He is die hard, fishing while having to be dressed like that, dedicated or crazy??)
He has called a ton of people including DWR officers. This is totally out of character for him, because he is so unconfrontational (if that is even a word). He hates to raise a stink and hates to be in the spotlight, but he is so passionate about this lake. I love that he wants to do all that he can to save something that is so dear to him. This lake is like his second home. I have always heard that one person can make a difference, but never really thought it to be true. But I am slowly changing my mind. He is doing a lot and has a lot of people talking.

Next I want to have a giveaway!!
I want to give someone a set of the pumpkins that I made. How to win you ask?
I have a wall next to my dining room table that needs a saying in vinyl. I have been looking for something special and I have yet to find the perfect one. Keep in mind that this is where we eat breakfast together on the weekends and dinner together every night as a family. You can see it from the kitchen and from the front door. Leave me a comment with a saying, quote, or just great words. If I pick your suggestion you win! Now leave more than one if you want... and if you have never left a comment before, but check out this blog, now is the time to leave one. You could be the winner of these cute pumpkins!!
I will send them to you. You win and I win. I will then have my friends at Star Bright Lettering make me the vinyl and I will be super happy and you will have cute pumpkins!!

Go Ryan! I'm glad someone is looking out for Fish Lake. Even if I don't get to go there much anymore I still want it the way it should be and the fish too for when I do go.

Alright so I am addicted to blogging as well and, as I was what some might call "Blog Stalking" I came accross your blog, and I had to tell you of a cute saying for your wall. I have been wanting to put it on my wall by our dinner table... It says...Together Is The Best Place To Be...Then there is a border around it saying dinner is served. dinner is served. dinner is served. (making a border around the saying with dinner is served.) I don't know if that makes any sense at all?? But, if you have any questions, let me know I will try to clarify better for you. Cute blog by the way, you guys have a cute family. hope you don't mind me checking out your blog.

Some of my favorites are
"Cherish Yesterday, Live Today, and Dream Tomorow."
Or "HOME-where we live, where we laugh, and where we love."
or
"The happiest people make the best of everything they have instead of having the best of everything"
or
"FAMILY-a gift that lasts forever"

"Do what makes you happy, be with who makes you smile, laugh as much as you breathe, and love as long as you live"

I love qoutes! But it is hard finding the right one...good luck!

Ok so I have the quote of "I kiss better than I cook" in vinyl under my microwave and I get a ton of comments especially from the missionaries, which I think is pretty funny. Anyways, I love this idea. I can't seem to make up my mind which is why I don't have one if my family room.

My friend has "And this is my Joy..."
There you go. Good Luck

I would put " To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven..." I LOVe that because it is my motto, when I can't seem to get everything done that I want to I remember that this season of my life will pass and be gone too soon, so it helps me enjoy it I guess.
(I REALLY want to win) But there are so many other good ideas.

In my dining room, I put the chorus to Billy Deans song, "Let them be little."
Let them be little, because they're only that way for awhile. Give them hope, Give them praise, Give them love everyday. Let them cry, Let them giggle, Let them sleep in the middle. Just let them be little.
Then I put pictures of my little guys, when they were babies, in their blessing outfits. It helps me to remember to soak up all their precious moments, (even all the spills at every meal,) because they grow up so fast! Sandy did it for me, and it really didn't cost me that much. Now it's my favorite wall in my house.

Okay, K'Brina, I've been stalking your blog and saw your cute little pumpkins and I'm going to give it a go to see if can win! (This is Kim Freitas, now Wilson, by the way) Hope I'm not too late!
1. The LOVE of a FAMILY makes life BEAUTIFUL.
2. Enjoy this MOMENT for this MOMENT is YOUR LIFE.
3. TOGETHER is a wonderful place to be.
And one more:
4. LIFE is not measured by the number of BREATHS we take, but the MOMENTS that take our breath away.

ok, I'm all into your quote thing. I love them!
" Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you decide to see the imperfections".

" Love life as it is.... not how you want it".

"You never know when you are making a memory"

Ok, there's a few more. Good luck!
