My sweetness...

Are these guys just the cutest that you have ever seen??

Aniston's serious face for our photoshoot...
This is about the only one I have of this silly girl smiling...

I just don't know if these guys know how happy they make me. I just can't get over how in love with each of them, I am.
Aniston is so smart. She reads everything to us. Math is her favorite. She is so her dad's child. She also just told me that she has a "crush" on a boy. (insert crazy scream from her mother here)
Emerson is full of new words. She has the funniest facial expressions and is currently obsessed with Aniston's flip flops. She laughed so hard when I was putting on her P.J.'s last night that she had us all laughing until we were almost crying.
I SERIOUSLY love these three. They fill my days with sunshine!! I don't want to ever forget how I feel right now!
And I may be a new Aunt sooner than later. My sister is dialated to a 2. My bags are packed and we are patiently waiting to meet this new little guy.

A Tutorial on Tuesday

I had so many requests for the magnets, so here are the instructions...

1st you need the little wood tiles. I bought mine at Joann's. They come in a little bag like this...

(this is off of Joann's website. This is obviously not the exact ones. These are hearts. I did the square ones, but the hearts would be cute too. I just wanted to show you that they came in a bag.)

Then I painted them with black paint. I also think that they would be cute if you painted them with other colors. My girls have a magnet board in their room and I think that I am going to make them some, but paint them with bright pink and green.

Then you need wallet sized pictures. I cropped mine in photoshop, but that is a pain to do unless you know photoshop and how your photo center prints them. So wallets will work just fine. Cut them to fit the wood tiles.
Then you get out the modge podge. (who doesn't love modge podge? It is awesome) Put a layer on the tile. Put your picture down and then apply another coat of modge podge.
Let dry. Add 3 more coats of modge podge.
When dry spray with acrylic clear coat. I would use a couple of layers of spray, but allow to dry before adding the next coat.
And you are done. They are really easy, really cute, and really cheap to make!

Anything is possible

This weekend was a little crazy. We had a family Birthday party on Saturday (which I will have pic of later). We built shelves in both of our closests (which are far from finished) and the Bassmasters Classic was on T.V. (which is like the Super Bowl of Bass Fishing.)
Now just in case anyone didn't know, We LOVE to fish.
( I'm sure that you all find this news shocking)
But this weekend watching the tournament was exciting. For the 1st time ever a woman competed in the Classic.
My girls loved it and we totally cheered her on the entire two days that she fished. This is one of those times that you can tell your girls that they really can do anything that they want to! They can be a doctor, a President, or a professional bass fisher! We live in a world that is constantly changing, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better, but then something so simple as the 1st woman in the Bassmasters Classic happens and I remember that this world is a pretty good place to live in.
This woman was so cute and although she didn't win, she finished in 46th place out of 51. (go girl power)
Check out her story. Here...

I am addicted to...

crafting. And I can't help it.

I made these for my nephews for Valentines Day. Cute and easy to carry in your purse.

Our grandparents got these for Valentines Day. Magnets of the girls little faces.
I also am addicted to making cards right now. Anyone want to be in a card club exchange with me??

It has recently been brought to my attention that I am an overachiever. (Thanks Tanya, now I feel bad ;))
I, on the other hand disagree. If you came over to my house right now you would see children running amuk, laundry in need of folding, a house in dire need of a good cleaning, and a craft room in total disarray. And yesterday my baby big girl wore her pj's all day long!!!
If only I didn't need to sleep or if there were 30 hours in a day.
Now a little explanation. I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. I haven't blogged about it because I have been hoping and wishing that I would be pregnant. I have joked about it and I have cried about it. Neither which seems to be helping. SO...I think that my need to craft is my way of making cute things, since there is no baby. And to make me feel better... knowing that if I had a baby, I wouldn't have the time to craft. So crafting is my therapy!

But I am afraid that my crafting days are coming to an end. We are ready to get back to remodeling. I promised my hubby that I would finish painting all the trim upstairs if he would build the girls closet and then I could start my painting project in their room. YEAH! He agreed to the pink stripes on the wall. I am giddy with excitement!

Now I just need to find material to coordinate with the paint for their bedspreads...

Pay it forward...

The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. (but sooner, rather than later . Sooooo many holidays coming up)

There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. That you want to play!!

Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift.

Here we are Filling the world full of handmade crafts... ahhhhh...doesn't it just leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling??

I want to do this...

I really, really want to re-do the girls' room. And I really want to do this to their walls.
My dilemma is that their dad is a beige person. He really wants to paint their room tan.
Now the good thing is when we moved in I painted the room green. So half of the work is already done.

Girls need their rooms to be cute and PINK, right?
Does everyone agree with me?
Let me know what you think.
I am going to have him read the comments, so make them good.

One more reason...

That I love my husband. He bought me Guitar Hero World Tour for Valentines Day. He knows me too well. I am not the type of girl that loves flowers on Valentines Day. Flowers just DIE, but Guitar Hero will be around for a very long time!

We had a pretty Romantic day. We got our Taxes done. Come on now, I know that you are all wishing for that kind of a date on Valentines!! But when your in love, like we are, getting your taxes done is a fantastic date.

We picked up our kids and then spent the evening together. He surprised us with a knock on the door and 1 red rose for me and 1 red rose for each of the girls. The girls got candy and new notebooks and I got the Fray C.D. Now, I am not kidding when I say that he is amazing.
Valentines is over and March is fast approaching. SPRING is coming, a new baby nephew is coming, and I can't wait for both!!
