Ten On Tuesday... and a Tutorial...

How 'bout that...
My ten on Tuesday this week is random, to say the least...
But here they are just the same...

1. My new pans that I got for Christmas are to die for...

The Christmas present that I use EVERY DAY! My sister says that getting pans for Christmas is the worst present ever. I, on the other hand, disagree. When you have been married for 10 years and the last set of pans that you got is 10 years old, new ones are a necessity. But these ones are awesome. They are stainless steel and they cook everything beautifully!! I am in love!!

2. Milk. I love it. There is nothing better with dinner, lunch, or breakfast for that matter. A tall glass of ice cold milk. Heaven, I say!!

3. A good book. I love a good book. One that you are so tangled up in that you constantly want to read morning, noon, and night. I haven't read since finishing the Twilight series. I need a really good book... anyone out there have a suggestion. I almost bought Love in the Time of Cholera at Walmart the other day. Is it worth the read???

4. Bounce dryer sheets.

They make your clothes smell so yummy!!
5. I LOVE going to bed before 10:00. Yup, we are lame and being 30 years old is almost like being 60 ;)
Right???

6. I loves that the days are getting longer. Mornings are lighter and when Ryan gets home from work, it isn't pitch black. Spring is coming...yeah!

7. I love General Hospital. I love February Sweeps. A deadly toxin in the hospital, an explosion, a sick lost baby, and a super couple that isn't even a couple. It is my guilty pleasure and I don't care who knows... I love it!

8. I love making something that I haven't made before. I made 7 of these little aprons for wedding servers. I drew my own pattern, which is kind of scary, but I think that they turned out alright..
9. I love that Valetines is only a few days away. I got Ryans Valentine today, I am finishing up parents valentines, and I still need a few things for the girls. Knocking, leaving valentines, and running, who thinks up this stuff??? I love it!

10. I love doing tutorials on here. I only hope that people like them as much as I like sharing...

This one is for the heart that we did at Craft Club on Friday. (this is my dining room...cute quote thanks to Danyette)

1st you need a stryofoam heart. Supposedly craft stores have these, unless you live in small town USA, like me. (then leave me a comment and I will tell you a site to get them on)

2nd you need 1 yard of cute fabric. Cut them into 2 by 2 inch squares. (Like so)

Then you need white Elmers glue and a pencil (a dull pencil)

Center the fabric around your pencil and then dip the end into the glue.

Poke it into the styrofoam.

Repeat until finished. Ohh so cute and super easy!!

Ten things I love on Tuesday

I am going to do something new. All week I think of things that I love. I decided on Tuesday I am going to share ten of them.

1. I love, love, love the Fray. Their new album came out today and I want it!!

Go ahead, push play, listen, they are awesome. (but push pause on the player below)

2. I Love Guitar Hero. Right before Christmas we watched a kid playing Guitar Hero in Walmart and I said "well that doesn't look very fun. I WAS WRONG...It is so fun.

and I ROCKED!!

3. I love the Biggest Loser on Tuesday nights. I seriously bawl like a baby during about half of the show.
I think that it is so inspirational. I just love it. I wish I had a Jullian Michaels at my house and then maybe this lazy body would exercise ;)

4. I love that I am albe to do something crafty every single day. It makes me feel so happy and so proud of myself when I am finished. (this week is all about the little girl aprons and Valentines gifts for grandparents)

5. I love comments on my blog. I admit it makes me very happy when I see new comments. I love to see who is reading and I love to check out everyone elses blog. I admit I am a blog stalker!!

6. I love that when my kids do something cute (which happens ALOT), my husband looks up at me, smiles, and winks at me. It almost makes me cry every single time he does it.

I just love him, fish and all!

7. I love this photography Website.
http://hayleebeanphotography.squarespace.com/
Her photographs are so fresh and fun feeling and She is from UTAH! LOVE IT! Check her out!!

8. I love that Valentines Day is almost here. I love making sugar cookies with the kids and writing on little Valentines. I just love having little girls to share cute little holidays with.

9. I really, really love this little girl. Everyday she is growing up so fast. She really isn't my little baby anymore. I love it that when she wants my attention she says "mom, mom, mom" and with her little hands she grabs my face, until I am only looking at her and our noses are touching.

But oh...my... gosh... I just LOVE her.

10. And I love this big girl. She is so sweet. I love it when she beats me at Mario cart she does a little victory dance. I also love that she still loves it when I match her clothes with Emersons. I really, really, really, love her so much!!

A cute valentine...

I saw these on Family Fun website. How cute is it? It looks like an ipod, but it is made out of a conversation box of candy, cardstock, glue dots, string, a printable download, and some recess peanut butter cups. Here is our take on it...

We are going to make these for Aniston's classmates, just as soon as I buy some more peanut butter cups. Someone (someone named Emerson) found them and ate...them...all...

And I got me some new brushes for photoshop and I have been playing with pics and it feels soooo good. Boy how I have missed taking pics and getting to editing them. I love the little hearts...

and I love these two little hearts... they make my little heart skip a beat...

Adventures in Ice Fishing...

Ryan got an Ice House for Christmas. He and Aniston went on Saturday and Emerson felt bad that she didn't get to go with. So we all loaded up early Sunday morning and headed to Fishlake.
Despite the freezing cold weather, the girls loved it. We caught a few fish (shhh...I out fished them all)!
And Grandma, don't worry, the girls were so warm. Notice Aniston without her coat. We were well equipped with a little heater, snacks, sandwiches, and of course, COKE!
The most entertaining part of ice fishing is that when you are looking through your hole in the ice, you can watch the fish come up and bite your bait. It kept us all entertained for hours. That is something you can't see when fishing out of a boat.
And last, but not least, my fish-crazed husband setting out in the freezing cold, trying to catch "the big one".

It's going to be one of those days...

After being up half of the night with a sick toddler, I woked up this morning with a bad attitude. I know that no matter what I do today I am going to be farther behind than when I started.

I still have laundry to do from the weekend and my dryer is acting up...
I have sheets that need to be changed...I need to sweep my kitchen in the most serious way...

It is a gloomy day outside... it's raining... and I don't want to do anything.
Isn't it suppose to snow in January??

I have photos to edit, I have aprons to sew for a wedding, and I really want to make some cards.
I need to vacuum... I need to dust... I still need to shower for the day.

And I don't want to do anything!!

On a different note. St. George was fun. It was spring there. There was no need for our huge winter coats. The kids played outside on Saturday. My sister and I learned to sew a bag. We stopped for a yummy Vanilla Latte at Perks on our way to our 10:00am pedicures.
We went to Red Robin with my dad and Loralee. It was sooo good. I love me a big juicy hamburger with mushrooms and swiss cheese.
Then grandpa and grandma promised the kids a visit to the bear shop. They went and the kiddos were estatic and now our bears have a new sparkly pink outfit!
Here is my dad with Emerson and Dylan. Emerson warmed right up to him. She sometimes is my shy child, but she was lovin' grandpa that night.

I just love these guys...

Aniston and Jaxon were lovin' grandpa too. He lets them be wild and silly. Who wouldn't love it?

I have high hopes that the day gets better.
I am looking forward to tonight.
Kids in bed, dishes done, and me and Grey's Anatomy spending a nice quite evening together.
Ohh... and I am having a heck of a time finding styrofoam hearts for the wreath. So if you are waiting for instructions, I will post them, I promise, just as soon as I can find the heart! So please check back. And I found the cutest little valentines for your kiddies to give friends or for school parties. I think that I am going to try to make them with Aniston this weekend. I will post pics.
